Right nipple turning purple

    Hello I’m a 29 year old female I’ve recently about (2 months ) notice my right nipple seems to looks more purple than pink or darker than the left I’ve seen my PCP who thinks it’s hormonal I’m waiting to have a mammogram any advice ??what to do next I’m scared been worried

    Hi Tim! I cannot say one way or the other if this is concerning - I just don't know... I want to welcome you and send support your way. I'm glad you reached out to your PCP. I hope your mammogram is for the near future once you get a date. The waiting is sooooo difficult. Do what you can to distract with relaxing and enjoyable things meanwhile even if you don't feel a high degree of relaxation or enjoyment.... This is a tough time!
