Back pain from herceptin loading dose ?

I finished chemo April 8th and had a herceptin loading dose on April 22nd. I then tried to work out for a few days (first time in months )

I've had lower back pain since .

I had my double mastectomy may 5.

My surgeon says since pathology shows I had such a great result from neoadjuvant chemo she is not concerned about the back pain.

Had anyone had lingering back pain from a loading dose of herceptin?

    Hi Imani,

    I am currently getting Herceptin and Perjeta also. Loading dose was February 24th and I did not experience any back pain, only abdominal cramping for about day 4-5, lasting 2-3 days. NO other symptoms. I would probably re-address with MO if the pain is new onset, continuous and lingering. Further evaluation is not an unrealistic request considering recent cancer diagnosis. Since MO is prescribing Herceptin and you are actively under her care, see if she will order further diagnostic tests.

    Hi DeniseML — i had my first infusion of Herceptin (Ogivri) + Taxol on Friday and felt strangely energetic on Saturday (and turned pink). Have you had any other symtoms since your loading does? Just curious about what else to expect. Hope you are feeling well.
