women's cowboy boot recommendeations?
I wonder if anyone has had a good experience with cowboy boots. I want something that is cute, but is a "work boot..." not some fancy-schmancy-afraid-to-wear-and-ruin pair of boots. Is there such a thing? I know Lucchesse are to-die-for, but ....ouch on the $$$ ...and they all seem less every-day and more fancy, at least for women. Am I wrong?

I usually just wear Romeos for work around the house but I’ve purchased from : https://www.countrysquarewesternwear.com/. They’re in Auburn so it might be a good excuse for a day tri

Appreciate the link. Not sure when we'll be doing ferry rides but excellent to know about this place. Thank you! I googled Romeo and did not find much; mostly shoes.
p.s. I love your avatar!!!

wallycat, Shepler's has a really big selection. Some of my friends like the Ariat boots which can be reasonably priced (at their low end).
I really like the Justin Gypsy boots for walking all over the barn but wouldn't ride in them because of the sole.
Have fun!
-
hi wallycat the ariate fat babies work for the barn and to ride in. Plus you get to tell people when you get up in the morning you just stick your feet in your fat babies and go. Lol the girls at the barn love them

This one piqued my interest https://www.cavenders.com/cavenders-by-old-gringo-...
but I will check out all the ones mentioned here. Thank you so much! I really appreciate all of this help. It's going to be a b-day present to myself and I wanted something useful/every-day but still special.
-
They are wonderful! I wouldn't check any further!!

Thanks cowgirl. I'm not a cowgirl but want to play one on tv, LOL. Do you think that boot can be used for "everyday" wear and not look too "fashionista?"
Any tips to getting the right fit? same as regular shoe size? smaller? I suppose that's a stupid question since they are all boot-specific, LOL.
-
Definitely wear it everyday--you might need to break them in is all. They aren't 'too fashionista', they are the real deal. Much better!
-
Cowgirl, thank you again! I ordered them. I ordered the tan because I didn't realize they had burnished brown. They recommended I order a size up, so if they don't fit, I can exchange them and make sure I prefer the tan ones.
I really appreciate your taking time to reply here.
-
wallycat, I really like the tan as opposed to the burnished. Do take photos when you get them. Looking forward to seeing them!
-
this reply isn’t for cowboy boots. I’m not sure where to post what I’m looking for. I’m searching for women who have breast cancer or have had it and have used Johnson and Johnson baby powder on their breasts and underarms. I’m sure there are some out there please respond
Thank you

I don't think many people will see your inquiry here. This area is for recommending purchases. You may get better luck posting in the cancer area. As an aside, J&J switched to cornstarch many, many years ago when the talcum + ovarian cancer worries arose. I know a lot of women that used perfumed talcum powder over their bodies, but not specifically J&J.

I did get the tan ones and they are lovely! I hope they are as comfortable to walk in as they are trying on. Goat skin outside and pigskin inside. Yummy. Thanks again for helping me decide!!---
So I can only see the picture when I edit but not otherwise....will have to figure that out....There...I think I have it!
-
wallycat, they are fabulous. Very expensive looking and they are the real deal! Congratulations!!!
