I’m 35 with 2 kids, finished breast feeding about 1 year ago.About 2 weeks ago, I started to have discharge from my right side nipple. Brownish in color, expressed only. My OB tested and it contained blood.

A mammo, an ultrasound, and a biopsy later, no answers. Imaging shows nothing that could be causing it. The biopsy was negative (it was a fibroadenoma). And now today bright red discharge joins the brown - sometimes clear.

I have with breast specialist appointment tomorrow, thankfully. Has anyone been through anything similar!?! It feels like there are no answers.

Sorry you're dealing with all this brooklyn! I have not dealt with nipple discharge though so many on this site have. Hopefully some will respond before long. Meanwhile you could go to the search box and type in nipple discharge or other related key words. I think you will find a lot of experiences others have had. Glad you have the specialist appointment tomorrow. Please let us know how that goes. Sending good vibes!

Breast specialist ordered breast MRI. Breast MRI showed Non-Mass Enhancement. Tomorrow MRI guided biopsy. If cancerous, seed placement on Tuesday, surgery Wednesday. If not, cancerous, just surgery Wednesday. Got some anti-anxieties for tomorrow after my first experience went so poorly. They haven't posted my MRI report yet so I don't know what the other key words were on the report.

I'm hoping all will be benign for you brooklyn!! I had a non-mass enhancement on MRI. It contained various benign and precancerous conditions. Had I not already decided on mastectomy for the DCIS I would've had to have a biopsy on those other areas to determine what they were. The pathology after mastectomy showed what these were.... Best! Please let us know....
