16 weeks pregnant.. only left breast is painful and itchy?

I’m 32 and currently 16 weeks pregnant. For the past couple of weeks my left breast has been really itchy, and is tender and painful. It wakes me in the night. It looks like it might have some dried yellow discharge on the nipple too. The right breast feels absolutely fine. I can’t see redness or anything as of yet

I’ve got myself really anxious about the possibility of this being IBC. Is it unlikely to be pregnancy related with only being one breast?

    IBC is not a common breast cancer diagnosis, but a Google search of symptoms may take you quickly to that conclusion. If it helps ease your mind, breast changes are very common in young women, especially being pregnant. We encourage you to set an appointment with your gynaecologist to get your breast checked, and ask for an explanation that can help you to understand what is going on.

    It's probably hormonal give your Ob/Gyn a call. Do you have fibrocystic breasts? That also can cause some issues. Stay off Dr. Google and enjoy this free time!
