Verzenio side effects

edited April 2021 in Stage IV/Metastatic Breast Cancer ONLY

I couldn't take Verzenio at 150mg. The diarrhea, headache and nausea were just too much for my system. Diarrhea 6x a day really takes a lot out of you. My Onc is switching me to 100mg. Will the lower mg's help? Trying to stay possitive. Thanks

    Hi Deamo1, I'm sorry that you have had these side effects on Verzenio. There is a specific thread on here for those on Verzenio, look for a thread in this Stage IV only forum called Abemaciclib Verzenio. Many women on this thread have reported lessened side effects on lower doses and also have other recommendations to help with the diarrhea and headaches . Hope the 100 mg is easier to tolerate.
