I so agree with you Shetland - "psychologizing" is what we call that on another medical forum I'm on.... so offensive! arabiansrock I too am glad the imaging center really heard and listened to you, then had things changed up! I hope you hear soon on results - as others have said - wishing for an easy to fix, non-cancer result!!

Hi Everyone, thank you all for the good wishes! Got my scan results, bottom line is they are calling it clear. I only saw 2 odd things, they did note a 4 mm Lipoma on the head of pancreas. Apparently these are benign, rare, and no treatment needed. ok Great! And under stomach and bowel it just says limited evaluation of bowel no obstruction seen. NO comments on the stomach. Did they not include it in the view? I am vomiting you would think you would take a look at the stomach. I wish there was a way for me to email that Dr and ask. Everything else was stated to be clear and normal. Oh and they did see some calcifications on my lungs in the small part that showed up in the imaging.

I am glad everything is clear, but pretty sure the dr is going to tell me its just stress now. Who knows, maybe it is. The good thing is I see my MO on Apr 14 so I can ask him about the imaging also.

    Call me still puzzled.

Glad it isn't cancer, but I sure wish you got some clear direction on what might be going on. Are you planning to see a gastro enterologist?

2019 I have a colonoscopy scheduled for late May. I doubt my dr will refer me over to be seen before that. If I continue to have vomiting episodes tho I will specifically ask him to send me.

Great news on the CT scan results!

One thought. Can you contract the doctor scheduled to do the colonoscopy, explain your situation, and ask if you can have it done sooner? Or maybe that doctor can suggest something else to keep the investigative process going.

And maybe they can include an endoscopy while doing the colonoscopy and examine your stomach.

Yes to what Beesie and WallyCat said 2 months is a long time to wait they can move you up based on the symptom and they can def do the endoscopy and colonoscopy at once.

Hi EVeryone, just wanted to come back and give an update. My PCP had no interest in digging any deeper into GI issues. Saw my MO yesterday and he took me seriously. He noted that I have colonoscopy at end of May. He suggested same thing as you guys, contact GI dr and tell them what is going on and ask if they want to do upper endoscopy while they have me under. He said it is very common to do the two procedures together. He is also changing me to Arimidex. So I get three weeks off of AI's, then start the Arimidex. He said if I feel worse on it to send him a message and I can go back on Letrozole (or try the other one).

Also saw gyn for PAP (turns out I managed to avoid that for & years, BAD GIRL me). I need to stay on top of that better. She said private area is "atrophied" and she can give me estrace that the MO has given them clearance to use it on a limited basis for patient comfort. Then she said, but you aren't having sex so you don't need it. Me: NO I do, I don't want to shrink away and NEVER be able to have an intimate relationship. I'm not dead yet, there is still a chance for activity for me!!!

Now for an off the wall question. Has anyone ever tried applying a small amount to their face/neck a couple times a week to see if it helps with preventing/reducing the skin thinning/wrinkles?

Here's hoping PAP comes back negative and that the Arimidex is easier for me, especially emotionally. And hopefully no weight gain!

Take care everyone and keep hanging on. We will survive! and come out of this stronger!

    Hugs

Thanks for the update and good luck; hope they can find answers for you!!

A lady physician that used to be on the Today show wrote a book and used estrogen cream on her face. Said it was like magic...till she developed DCIS and quit. That cream really gets systemically absorbed and is a high dose (compared to vaginal suppositories) so be careful!

I know of someone who got bc young and her docs thought a contributing factor was estrogen cream she used a lot on horses she was caring for, no gloves.
