intrathecal pain pumps

Hello friends- My intrathecal pain pump that I just had implanted 3 weeks ago isn’t working or controlling my pain at all. Has anyone else ever experienced this? I feel I made a mistake in having the pump implanted. I’m in a great deal of pain after standing up for more than 3 minutes. Now my doctor is suggesting I take Tylenol and Ibuprofen. Neither is controlling the pain at all.

    I wouldn't give up on it just yet despite feeling it isn't working. These have been helpful for many... I'm assuming you're working with a pain clinic (hopefully) with this? I'd hope there can be some adjustments made before abandoning it....
