Have anyone experienced watery eyes from TCHP treatment?
I started to have tearing eyes after my 3rd chemo session with TCHP and I finished my last session at the end of February. However, the tear still continues. Does anyone have experience with this side effect? If so, does it ever stop?

EZ - it is a classic side effect of Taxotere. Contact your opthamalogist and he/she will recommened drops that help.

Mine did go away, but I can't remember when it did, so probably not long after treatment stopped I would guess. It was so annoying. I would be in a store and couldn't see because of the tears in my eyes, but I didn't want to wipe them away because of the COVID.

@December11 - I know! The tears will come out when I’m talking to another person. It’s very weird. I’m just worry it’ll not go away

I have suffered from watery eyes for years, and it only got worse with chemo, looked like I was crying all the time. My ophthalmologist suggested fish oil supplements because he believes the watering is actually caused by a dry eye and the fish oil will supplement the natural oil in the eye. My oncologist okayed it as a supplement, I think it has helped. I am done with chemo and still take it.

Yes, EZ - my experience was like December. Tears went away after chemo. I still occasionally use Systane Ultra or Thera Tears Extra Dry during allergy seasons.

I lost my lashes on a/c, and had some leaky eyes. When my lashes finally came back tears stopped.

@SeektheGood and MinusTwo - I have fish oil and just got the Thera Tears and am going to give them a try. Thank you!
@Spookiesmom - I lost most of my lashes too and think that can be the cause too.
