I just received this dx. We are doing more labs and 24 hour urine collection to rule out Myeloma or lymphoma.

Ugh....

Between covid and my husband's metastatic dx, this is the last thing I want to deal with.

    Hope it is just MGUS and it either doesn't progress at all or at a very slow pace.So sorry you and your husband are going through this at this time. Take care!

    update:

    Right now, I am MGUS (pre-cancer). She wants a base line bone marrow MRI....dread is an understatement. Not the procedure; the concern for results.

    We'll repeat all the labs in May and see what happens. She said it could just hang out like this for years or decades, spontaneously disappear, or go on to be myeloma. Like having breast cancer isn't the sword of Damocles already. Life...whatchagonnado.
