Hi, I hope everyone’s are doing well in this crazy covid era. I finally received my exchange surgery date and I need some advices. I have pre pec TE 350cc filled and I have to choose between Allergen SCX VS Mentor High Profile. What I know so far after reviewing post forum is that SCX offer less rippling but it’s hard and Mentor is less harder than SCX but has rippling. I would really appreciate it if anyone who has above implants share own experiences. I have somewhat thin skin and I m just worried.

    I have pre-pec SCX! I really like them. Yes, they are firm. However, I previously had sub pec implants that were horribly rippled, so I don't mind the firmness. The ripples REALL bothered me.

    Are you going to be having fat grafting as well? I had two rounds of grafting and I do believe that added back some softness.

    Thank you 🙏🏻 My plastic said it’s firm like gummy bear and I have no idea since I never had chance to touch nor feel the implant. Would you mind telling level of firm. I m worried it might be firm as rockets sticking out. I just want to be done with surgery and don’t look forward to go for FG...

    Kitty Gal,

    They are about as firm as some of the soft gummy candies that are out there. A couple of weeks ago we bought some lychee gummies from an Asian market and both my daughter and I noticed how similar they felt! Ha! No one has commented on being “assaulted” when I hug them...and believe me, my family would have let me know.

    There is also a mid level Inspira implant with the extra projection...SRX I believe it is. I did get to handle both implants and the rippling was more pronounced on that one as compared to SCX.

    I would have to say that you need to try and determine which is more important...softness or smoothness, and make your decision based on that.
