how about drinking?

Well ladies sounds like we need to keep Donna off the meds and drinks at the same time! Just joking, hope you're feeling better I look forward to meeting you at Pinkstock!
If uyou haven't booked the car yet I went with Alamo. I just kept saying I just don't know about the cost and the guy kept lowering it!
Hubby and I will be staying 8-1 in Niagara Falls, Ont. for our anniversary then meeting with everyone at the falls on 8-2. We however will be camping since this trip is more than we've spent on a vacation in a long time! But we are so looking forward to it!
Janis, how's that sweet little girl doing? Bet she's growing like a weed! A very pretty weed.
Cheers! -
Hey Buds~
Just checking in....I had to scroll down to find this thread. Where is everyone? (I know Christine is in CA).
Spring has finally sprung! WooHoo! Now I just need to get my trashy lawn in order. Had a lawn dude come by after work yesterday to give me an estimate on getting rid of moles, (the little shits) & weeds, as all my yard needs right now is a car on blocks to complete the Sanford & Son look. Totally unacceptable!
Hope everyone has a great day!
Donna -
Donna...lol..yard? hmmm still to much snow to think about that...ummm...have a car in the yard on blocks...ooops sorry will have to take care of that...
hey the sun is trying to peek through...ok maybe signs of spring here...time to get the slushie maker out...
MB -
MB - I forgot you guys were slammed with more snow recently. Do you ever get sick of snow? I would, although it sure would come in handy when I was having a hot flash, which is often! And it would be a good excuse for a hot toddie...
As far as the car on blocks thing - you're out in the country (WAY out I understand). I live in a subdivision where everyone's lawn looks all manicured, then there's the weed & mole farm. (my yard) LOL!
cheers,
Donna -
Donna..hehehe I have a cat that can catch moles ...leaves them all over the porch...lol...gifts...
and yes I do live out there...lol...worried there will be BC girls roaming the country side...lol...getting some signs made and arrows that a blind man could fllow

Hi not drinking anything but gatorade. food poisoning is making it hard for me to stomach anything including the gatorade. But I must stay hydrated!
Hope Christine and Lini were able to meet up!

Hi girls, I wanna play, can I huh huh, can I? I like to have fun. I've never read this thread before and I wanna be a 'bad girl' too and drink way too much wine! ROFLMAO I play at the Cyber Girls Par-Tay with Chris-tiny and we have a bunch of silliness goin on. In fact, we...uh...had to tone things down a bit to a pg or g rating. So if ya'll don't mind I'll join you at a decent hour some evening. (I do have party references available upon request)

Hey if Cheri is comin to the drinkin thread then I'm gonna have to come back and chaperone!!! She's a blue drink drinker and look out ladies...she swipes my drinks all the time.
Hugs all

Haven't heard from Christine. She PM'd and said that it was going to be tough as she had lots on her to do list. Sucks big time though because the weather has been dreary all week and it rained pretty hard all night. Hey, it never rains in California, guess that she brought it with her. I hope it warms up today for her, but I doubt it. I'm sure she's having fun anyway.
Welcome, Cheri. No fairies over here, 'kay girls. Just real honest to goodness ladies that enjoy a drink or two or three....And keeping it clean? Well, sometimes it can get a bit raunchy, but it's all in fun. Oh, and a biggy NO stealing drinks!! Drink what ya brought, share, but no stealing. Harsh penalties for that. LOL!! -

Dang! WTF??? I hope you feel better real soon!
I had one scotch and two glasses of wine last night with my excellent dinner companion (a blind date) and we have another date scheduled for next Wednesday.
My co-workers are having a shower for Avery today which should be nice. She's been cranky lately because she's teething but still a joy to be with!
Par-tay!
Mommy Jaybird -
Avery has got to be the best dressed baby girl in IL. Cuter than heck, too!

Lini...didn't know you didn't like fairies...I swipe Cheri's drinks all the time (shhhh....don't tell her).
-
Jan, man you have to watch your back...lol..

I can do "denial land" really good, just don't do "fantasy land" very well. Never into Star Wars, Star Trek, Narnia, Never Ending Story with that flying dog thing-a-ma-bob, Tolkein, Lewis, pixies, etc. But, romance give me romance movies any time. Relationships movies, classic chick-flicks are good. Can do a bit of fantasy in these, but that's it. The Christopher Reeve/Jane Seymour movie, Somewhere In Time, that kind of fantasy works for me.

Seriously, didn't mean to be unwelcoming. It's a free country. Post what you wish. Just think one thread full of fairies is enough, but that's only my opinion. I still love you guys fairies, or no fairies. -
For Lini
Now...how about a drink? I just read you shouldn't drink wine if you are ER+!!!! What am I supposed to drink now!??! -
I'm er+, too, but what the heck! What'll it be Vickie, red or white?
Did you know that Sauvignon Blanc in an aphrodisiac in my house. Need to be careful with that stuff. -
Lini, no harm, no foul! We love you too.
Vickieroo, I will not give up my wine. I don't care what the reports say. Who knows, next week they will have new reports and red wine will be the next big weapon against cancer! I just make sure that I get enough folic acid, alpha lipoic acid, CoQ 10 and milk thistle.
Cheers ya'll -
Lini, I'm er+ too. I just don't care anymore! I'm a Cabernet Sauvignion girl myself.
-
Cool, Jan. Then we don't have to share. Wonder whose bottle Vickie will swipe?
-
Hmmm, don't know! I tend to keep a pretty good grip on my wine, lol! Oh heck, I'll share mine with Vickie. It will save her the trouble of sneaking up on me. You know, I hear she has a little problem with sticky fingers, Shhhhhh! She's been known to rip off some pretty interesting items .
-
Ah, she can have a glass of mine too. That should give her a pretty good headache and then she can take some more of that Tylenol PM. LOL!!
-
Amen Sista!
I can't wait to get out of this office and have me a glass of vino!
Vickie - glad to see you're joining us for drinks again! And if anyone tries to swipe MY drink - well, let's just say I hope you're not too attached to your hand.
Janis - did your blind date have a seeing-eye dog?
Cheers,
Donna -
Tylenol sinus pm with Lini's wine acting as an aphrodisiac...oh my would I ever be in trouble then!!! Thanks for sharing gals.
