A handful of symtoms -- very concerned!

Hi, I have a doctor's appointment next week to get this checked out, but I have been worrying sick. People keep telling me not to jump to conclusions.

My symptoms:

Itchy breast (on top of breast), itchy off and on for a number of months

Redness on breast that comes and goes

Welt/rash on breast in same spot that comes and goes

Small purple spots that fade into a brown bruise-- I've been getting new purple spots

When breast skin is slightly stretched, you can see all the capillaries/small vein system (this does not happen on other breast)

    Would you be worried sick if these symptoms were on your knee or elbow?

    Breasts have skin too so odds are you need to see a dermatologist.

    Assume the least dramatic to save worry. Peace. :-)

    Symptoms that come and go could be anything from dry skin to a reaction to soap to a fungus. Serious breast issues don't come and go. But do get checked out for your peace of mind, then go to a dermatologist.

    Glad you're being seen by your doc next week. I won't be surprised if it's a dermatology issue either... hopefully just irritated skin for whatever reason... Please let us know how things go....
