My Nugget has developed that habit of jumping in my chair. Have a hard time getting him out of it.
-
Because your scent is in it, he wants to be by you❤️❤️❤️
-
Nugget is the same way with hubby
-
Spookie is my girl, Kris is daddy’s boy.
-
Nugget loves our laps.

Dozer with his Care bear pillow.
-
Sure looks like a comfortable spot for a 'comfort dog'.
-
aww cute
-
Just to make you laugh -
"Momma you really don't see me, I'm not in the back of the sofa cushions"
-
Aww a peek aboo puppy!
-
Agree, peek aboo! So cute.
-
He is definitely not a puppy, but acts like one! LOL
-
-
More than comfort dogs - hope this brings a smile to you today.
-
Wow!! I’ve heard of other animals doing this, but not a horse. Very cool❤️❤️
-
I saw that one and loved it!
-
Hubby is putting new kitchen cabinets and Dozer had to go check them out.
I went to stay with grandsons for 3 days and wherever I am he is also. Won't leave my side. Dozer stayed home with Hubby while I was gone.

Nugget has been practically glued to me since last night. Got a call that a cousin had passed away unexpectedly.
-
This one is my constant companion. She is an especially good napping buddy.
-
my heart dog died in sept 2020 and there isn’t a single day I don’t miss him and wish he was here to help me negotiate this.

Nugget got to meet my parents this morning when they stopped here for coffee before going on to the last leg of their trip. They thought he was so cute and he got along with their dog. My mom usually doesn’t let dogs kiss her but she let her grandpup give her kisses. Nugget was so happy playing “fetch the tennis ball” with my stepdad.

Always good to hear about the fur babies that past, present and future fur babies that enrich our lives.

I'm new here, but wanted to share this -
We have a border collie, almost 2 years old, we got as a rescue when she was a puppy. I had surgery 2 weeks ago. My dog has been very attentive - she knows something is up. she follows me from room to room. She sniffs my breasts, looks at me like she's asking I I hurt. If I get up to go to the bathroom at night, she gets up, sits outside the bathroom waiting, then follows me back to the recliner where I've been sleeping, lies down behind me. Each morning she checks in with me by sniffing where she knows I'm hurt. She is very intuitive, and really seems to understand that I'm sick. My husband takes her on walks, and when they return she immediately comes to me to see if I'm ok. She also "insists" that I sit out in the backyard with her in the late afternoon.
We've been calling her my private duty nurse.

Gotta love a border collie. Sooooo smart❤️❤️
-
tinkerbell65 - What a wonderful comfort dog you have!
-
Nugget is really being a comfort to me tonight. I got word that my middle nephew passed away this morning on his birthday.
-
Dozer got a delivery from chewy.com with no name on it - Come to find out it was from "Santa" (my daughter-in-law and son). When it came, My hubby and I looked at each other and said in unison - I didn't buy that! The other day I had a migraine and he brought his new lovey and set it on my lap. I think he thought I needed it more than he did.
-
Good dog Dozer. Is he a bit shy of the camera?
-
MagicLight, Dozer will sit for pictures but he doesn't like the flash.. He is very scared of lightening and gun shots too. Living in a rural area, there is lots of that. I am also thinking as he is getting older he is more nervous. He also barks at walls and whines more... Dementia??? not sure - we have had him for 8 years?? I think. He is almost 12.
