I’m just curious. Has anyone had a recurrence with a primary diagnosis of mixed Cribriform/Tubular/Mucinous/IDC

Wow, this post feels so long ago...

I’ve not had a recurrence, butI was just diagnosed with high grade bladder cancer, I believe due to the chemo I received eleven years ago for my breast cancer. 😞

I'm sorry you're going through another type of cancer. I know your post was a long time ago but it's helped me. I'm really scared about the lymph nodes you had only one compared to me. I'm hoping for good outcome

I'm so sorry. I did so much research when I was first diagnosed. But have kind of fallen off with that.

What I learned is that these types of cancers tend to be slow growing and have a low recurrence rate.

    Did you do chemo

Yes I did AC ×4 T ×4 and I'm currently on tamoxifen. I doubt mine is slow growing it's definitely aggressive to go to so many lymph nodes

I have a last question for you how did your pathological report read? Mine was IDC with cribriform present and tubular growth pattern there was 10% DCIS but conclusion was IDC of no special type

My margins were clear, so I didn’t need radiation.

I’m sad about how so many nodes were involved for you. Cribriform/tubular/mucineous are typically low-grade, slow-movers,or so I thought. 😞

I wasn’t able to tolerate Tamoxifen. It did crazy stuff to my uterus. So I did no hormonal therapy over the course of these past eleven years.

What has your Oncologist said about recurrence rates? I’m certain things have changed since I was diagnosed.

My Onc was interested in treating it aggressively because of lots of lymph nodes involved and hoping for the best. Can you assist with how your pathological report read. Because I'm confused on mine I can't be pure IDC

My Onc didn't talk about recurrence rate he was interested in aggressively treating it and hoping for the best. My margins were clear too but did all the necessary options available. Can you confirm if your report was similar to mine. I'm confused because it's not pure IDC but is aggressive it seems
