I had a nipple/skin sparing mastectomy direct to implant last year. Went in last Friday for a "touch up". Mastectomy side nipple raised. Non mastecomy side fat grafting. for symmetry. Skin was thin on mastectomy side due to previous hematoma from lumpectomy prior to mastectomy. So was a little concerned to have this side "messed" with.

Very pleased with " headlight alignmemnt" and fat transfer. My concern is serous weeping from nipple realignment on mastectomy side. I am 5 days post op and still leaking a little serous fluid Is this normal ? How long is serous drainage acceptable? I suffer from health anxiety and I am a nurse ( go figure) . So pls be kind with you comments. Afraid I made a huge mistake with touch up surgery.Maybe I should have left well enough alone.

If the weeping is clear and odor free, I would not be too concerned. However, the best way to find out for sure is to call the surgeon.

Keep us posted. I have always been curious about how a realignment would work with NSM.

yep, clear and odor free 5 days post op.

Very happy with the alignment and fat transfer on the other side. Lota s bruising on the fat transfer side. But all in all doing well. Just being a nervous nellie about the drainage. Saw surgeon yesterday. Said to early to comment on drainage . He is a super surgeon . I reapect him greatly. But kind of short on words if you know what i mean? the silent, artist type LOL.

Abyway, if I werent fixated on the drainage. I would say very happy with the results and doing very well.
