Well here I am..
I had a screening mammogram in February that resulted in a call back for Diagnostic/Ultrasound due to loosely clustered microcalcifications. Yesterday I had my 6 month f/u and apparently they are not loosely clustered anymore but now fully grouped microcalcifications in 2 areas of the right breast. Pleomorphic? Anywho.... scheduled for a biopsy next Friday 10/30 and a BI-RADS 4C.
I’m cautiously optimistic but the breast care specialist nurse was pretty up front with me that there was significant change from the last one and “they did the ultrasound yesterday hoping to find the mass for ease of biopsy”... so it sounds like they aren’t as optimistic.
