Surgery scheduled 11/23. Lumpectomy and SNB.

After initial diagnosis I asked my obgyn if I should be worried about my cheat being tight and feeling short of breath. (Pretty sure it was from anxiety)

She ordered a CT of chest. It came back non specific lung nodules( rescan in 3 months) and non specific 12mm liver spot. (Rescan)

Tumor board met and decided surgery details but they are unconcerned with Lung nodules but say we are going to rescan liver before starting endocrine therapy or before Chemotherapy if that's what the OCTO test results come out.

Dr said he doesn't think they are related but we need to rescan to prove it. I was freaked out about the lung stuff but he said nothing to worry about. And the mentioned the liver rescan. I get that since it was mentioned and given to him we need to follow it up so there's no malpractice or negligence but I wish I had piece of mind know they weren't related.

I had a CT in 2017 and nothing showed on it in lung or liver.

Throughly freaked out!

Best to you with follow-up scans! As I'm sure you've seen on other posts lung nodules are not unusual, esp. as we get older - I have 2 that were found several years ago, rescanned once and no change so no further scans. Hopefully it does not take long for the liver rescan... Please keep us posted and do some good self-care, esp. self-soothing/comforting activities to help with waiting and getting through this...
