Hi. I have a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound scheduled for Monday, but I'm really freaking out in the meantime. I know what BI-RADS 0 means in theory... but in this particular case, what is most likely? They have previous mammos to compare to so it's not that. Would I get answers Monday most likely, or more wait and see? Biopsy likely or not?

The only new thing is the mass. A cyst doesn't seem likely because it's not round...?

Here is the exact wording.

FINDINGS: The breasts are heterogeneously dense which may obscure small masses. As an 8mm mass in the left lower inner quadrant mid depth, with particularly on the CC view nodularity extending from this lesion towards the nipple. There are a few bilateral diffuse punctate microcalcifications. No dominant mass, suspicious morphology microcalcifications or other signs of malignancy are identified in right breast. There has been no significant interval change in the right breast.ASSESSMENT: MAMMOGRAM BI-RADS CATEGORY 0: INCOMPLETE-NEED ADDITIONAL IMAGING EVALUATION.1. Left lower inner quadrant mid depth 8 mm mass with nodularity extending towards the nipple.
