When I was nearly done with treatment one October, I walked into a store with my kids and there was a huge table of pink BC items for sale and I, without thinking, just said "oh no...": in dread. The sales lady looked at me like I was crazy. I hadn't been thinking about my cancer but when I saw it, I sure was.

I'm glad of course that money is raised but I am personally offended by "Save the Boobies" and "Save the Tatas" slogans. Save my life. I'm more than boobs especially since I have no boobs at all...not even an implant on one side. "Save a mom" "Save a sister" is what they should be saying.

survivor. I actually just said it to a stranger the other day for the first time. I do not care for any graphics that depict boobs and claim to be spreading awareness. My boobs were taken and it makes me sick to think that a disease that kills women could be sexualized.
