I am on Letrozole and experience the muscle and joint pain. I have trouble sleeping at night because my hips and legs hurt as well as my fingers. In the mornings it can sometimes be very hard to grip a coffee cup or to get around the first 30 minutes from the muscle and joint pain. Was wondering what others have done that helps. I take claratin but it doesn't seem to do anything. I have tried Cryotherapy and like it wondered what other options where out there.

I think you might want to ask the mods to move your post to the hormonal treatments forum. There is lots of discussion and tips about this topic there

    Hope you find relief

I am 50 and overweight. Been on Arimidex a few days short of 3 yrs.

For me walk (3miles per day average) multivitamin, and epsom salt bath sat and Sunday(2.3times per week because vacation means additional epsom bath)

MarcieS, sometimes a change to a different kind of hormone medicine can alleviate some of your symptoms. I found that Tamoxifen or Faslodex were more tolerable for me than Aromatse inhibitors, maybe your MO can recommend another hormone drug you can try. Best wishes to you.

I have been on Zoloft 25mg for years due to PMS. It worked perfectly for me. When I received my cancer diagnosis, my primary increased my dose to 50mg.

After some research, I found that Zoloft may effect Tamoxefen metabolism. I had planned on increasing my dose to 100 upon starting Tamoxefen.

Good news is that Effexor has no effect on Tamoxefen and can alleviate some of the symptoms.

    I am planning on switching.
