Can't find too much info about a tumor encased in scar tissue popping after compression injury. anywhere.......

...Yep...actually I have a hysterical story to share....will make u laugh....will share later...just curious if anyone else had this. Surgery coming up soon...not sure hofw to make decisions since no one has dealt with such nuttiness....

After compression injury...woke up....and Overnight the 7 yr lumpectomy scar bump (ping ball size) was gone.....It popped... (We had shortly before found out the cancer was back but was contained inside the ping pong ball.)....after the injury....it split into 3 parts....... Even my MDs are perplexed.....anyone?

One of my concerns if it broke up so fast....those little nasty cells like to travel on free miles!

Not too much into...Anyone?

No it wasn't from a mammo… though I actually thought with some of them in the past.. mammos in the past

It actually what's surprising that the mammo I had last month at Moffitt was the softest one I have ever had!

This is actually a funny story if it didn't with mess with the cancer.

Due to an assortment of bizarre health issues since January , I had gained 50 pounds in 6 weeks eating virtually nothing. Went from size 4 ...to 180 pounds. But that's another story.

Due to the rapid change in body size it is very difficult to gauge Movements and dimensions. We have king size adjustable beds and I was attempting to change the sheets. Well… As I attempted to squeeze my newly fat butt between the beds I got stuck! Boob pinched between the frames.

I yelled HELP forever until my husband came to assist . And instead of pulling me out of Between the beds he laughed… pulled out his cell phone… and took pictures! Then he helped me! Lol!! Husbands..gotta love them.

Here is when it got strange… the next day I woke up and I like ouch my boob hurts. I pulled up my top and looked and my whole breast Was black ..nipple and all. you could not tell the difference.

Prior to the boob eating bed incident...in March IDC ER+PR+ER2- STG 2 w/lobal properties Had returned...totally localized inside the ping pong ball! If I could have been able to get rads they could have done a second lumpectomy. Due to other health issues..it wasn't possible.

Then...After the bed ATE me...With my ouchie black boob...I woke up and the ping pong ball was gone. I did feel something NEW at 6 oclock...but we didn't know if it was the hematoma or what.

We later found out the ping pong ball must have ruptured into 3 pieces. Noon...6pm...and a baby near its momma at noon.

It is bizarre....I can't find anything or anyone who had this craziness occur. Even the MDs were perplexed.

My concern now...if that bad boy broke up so violently...it only takes a few baby cells to decide to take a trip around my world.

Trying to focus on the hysterical parts!!

LittleGrammieTre, I've never heard of that either. That is bizarre. I think my husband would take pictures too. Some things you can't pass up I guess.

I did crash my bike about 6 months or so before my DX and landed on my shoulder and breast. It was a nasty fall. It wasn't that long after that I started having pain in my breast and noticed some thickening that just happened to be where I fell on it. Talked myself out of the cancer possibility and figured I had injured it somehow. I even postponed my annual mammogram because I was too busy with work to go in when it was scheduled. Based on the size of the tumour, that cancer had likely been there for years, but I always wondered what affect that fall had on the tumour, if any. It was a weird coincidence.

I do hope your trifecta of BC is cleared up pronto and your bruises resolve! I too have a husband whose first reaction to disasters involving me, requires a photo. Example: we are paddling on a river which I knew to be shallow and my kayak and I somehow! end up perched on rocks - very tippy and unstable. I shout for assistance and he paddles towards me, assesses the situation, determines the best angle re: the sun and precedes to snap photos. Only when he was satisfied that he got some good shots, he guided me off the rocks. BACK OUT THE WAY YOU CAME! Was that the strategy you used to extricate yourself?

    hello All!

You're welcome! I think alot of us needed a laugh.

My daughter lost her "Nanna" (actually her Nannas lifelong bestie-she was all my daughter had left of birth Nanna) ...As I was writing the post..after midnight I got a call from my daughter in tears. We both cried for awhile...then I gave her more details about the boob eating bed..with pictures. She laughed so hard...we both did! A moment of sunshine in the darkness.

I find life usually has moments like this...sometimes we just need to take a breath...remember the good stuff!

I myself am going through a heavy, confusing time. Surgery is finally ( since dx in march) set nov 2. Im not completely comfortable with the plan...pray for wisdom and clarity!

SM...DM...recon...alot of moving pieces and health junk. I just can't decide. I think I'm gonna take my 200,000. Airline miles and fly to tahiti! If I can ever figure out how to use them!! Lol!

    To the best of life!

    Blessings!
