I think I'm happy with my implants

Hi everyone. I think I'm becoming happy with my implants. I got them in June, and at first I thought they were too big, but they're not now that the swelling has gone down. They're actually smaller than my natural breasts were, but I'm glad about that.

They've dropped some, so there's a slight crease and shadow underneath them. At first, they were sticking straight out, and I didn't like that. They're not as soft as natural boobs of course, but they're softer than they were at first. The soreness went away. I do wish they were a little closer together, but they aren't too far to the side, either.. Anyway, I posted here upset after my exchange surgery, and some of you wanted me to come back in a few months with an update.

Now I'm contemplating the tattoos. I'm not going to get the nipple reconstruction done, I'd only want the tattoos.

I still have scar tissue from my surgeries (double mastectomy in March & reconstruction in August). Did you have scar tissue (internal)? If so, how long did it take for it to soften for you? My left breast seems fine, but my right breast still has some toward the bottom.

Hi WomanWoods. I don't know if I have scar tissue. I can't really feel any to the touch.

Danee - thanks for the update post. It does take a while to get used to. Nice to hear you've made the accommodation and are headed for tatoos.

WomanWoods - it can take longer than 6-8 months for everything to settle depending on your surgeon, your implants and your life style. August isn't very long ago. If you're concerned, you should call your PS and go in for a review, but it's only been a short time.

Hi MinusTwo! Your message to me a few months ago was very helpful. I kept thinking of "step away from the mirror", like you said! That helped me a lot. I appreciate you.

Danee - you're welcome, but it wasn't original to me. Others told me that when I was freaking out. Really glad to hear things are better.
