hi everyone !
So I posted before , I finally got thru to breast cancer center , hand delivered a disk of mammo, ultrasounds and Mri . With all reports to set up for my biopsy’s. I finally get a call back from the clinic to schedule . And the radiologist now wants new images ,Mammogram as she saw some Asymetry in the right breast that was not reported on my last visit in beginning of September. And after Mammogram they are setting me up in for ultrasound with biopsy for left breast . I asked nurse if they will biopsy all 3 lesions and she said the radiologist is only doing 2 of them because 2 are sitting back to back of each other .
So my mind is thinking ... why not all three ? What if there is something different in the 3 lesion that is in a different area ?
Can there be difference cancers in the same breast ? It will the 2 being biopsies show what is going on . But what if those 2 are benign and the one not being biopsy is the cancerous one . Urg 🥵 I am so frustrated . I just want to make sure it is all being covered .
Another thought If there is Asyemtry in the right breast does that get biopsies as well? At the same time as the left side ? And can they biopsy a asemtry area with no lesion? So many mental questions and no one to ask .
Anyone have anything similar to this ? If so what did they do?
Nurse coordinator said my appt is 3 hrs long . And my biopsy results should be ready by that Friday . And they call with the results . I hope they have a App as I rather read my own results I think . Idk I guess the anxiety is getting to me .
Thanks for any input .

It would be better if you kept all your posts to one thread. You could revive that thread by putting this post in at the end, allowing anyone responding to see the whole history and previous responses. Otherwise it's confusing for those of us trying to offer advice. I know that I responded recently to someone asking about 3 lesions and whether all 3 would be biopsied - so I'm thinking that I answered your one of your questions already.
No one here is a Radiologist (except djmammo, who is not posting these days) and no one here has seen your imaging. What happened in someone else's case has no significance to your case because their imaging would have looked completely different than yours, even if they had 3 lesions and asymmetry too.
I'm sure that the Radiologist has a good reason for her decision to biopsy 2 of the 3 lesions - and I think I explained possible reasons in my post in your other thread - but these are answers you can only get from your Radiologist. Same with regard to whether the Radiologist will do a biopsy on your right breast if the new mammogram shows concern with the asymmetry. That's impossible for anyone here to know.

I can address your question about two different cancers in the same breast. I had ILC, IDC and a benign lesion in my L breast and IDC in my right breast.

thank you for sharing . What was diagnosing like for you? I have tried to do research but not fining much for cancer in both breast at time of diagnosis . I read about having cancer in other breast about 3-4 months after initial and found in other scans .I was under the standing that MRI was the best screening for extremely dense breast which they say I have .
What are your thoughts ?
Thank you for being so kind and understanding
