New dent a year after surgery

Hi all,

I have a new dent right over my lumpectomy scar. I wouldn’t think much of it, except that it has been 15 months since my surgery and a year since I finished radiation. It’s definitely new. Anyone have a similar situation? I see my oncologist in November but I don’t want to spend the next two months wondering...

Thank you!

So far, in my experience also having lumpectomy and radiation, I'm still having/showing tissue changes. I am 99.% percent sure I am fine. Already had 1 biopsy which was benign. Funny you asked this, because I also see my dent more clearly now. The only thing I can think of is perhaps the few pounds I've lost since my husband died could be the cause.

Try not to worry, easier said than done, believe I know.

Thank you ctmbsikia—I feel a lot better knowing that tissue can keep changing long after surgery! I also lost a few pounds, and it never occurred to me that could make the dent more noticeable.
