Breast exam shows area of thickness with a lump

My annual breast exam the doctor found a area of thickening in my left breast around 2:00

Same breast on inner side around 8:30 -900 she found a lump.
Right breast is a lump around 9 (this breast has prior surgical biopsy for intraductal papilloma)

Anyway scheduled bilateral diagnostic mammo and ultrasound next week.

While putting hair up - with my hands above head I noticed on the breast with area of thickening there is 2 large dimpling areas

A little concerned with the dimpling

We can not post pics correct?

    Kim,

    I am also awaiting further diagnostic testing to rule out anything negative from dimpling. Beesie has provided some great infomation in my posts. Waiting is not fun and I hope the best for you.

    I actually have a MRI scheduled this afternoon.

    If this is clear I will be able to move forward and not worry! My ins did pay for it as I emailed my doc pics of the dimpling (only visible if my arm is raised) and a area of discoloring.

    Hope your MRI went well and turns out negative. I have been told today by my OB to take Sudafed for three days to dry up my remaining milk for scheduling of a MRI.

    I received the all clear this morning!

    I could not be happier to put this all behind me!

    I had 2 biopsies in right breast almost a year ago to the day. Ended up having a lumpectomy. When I went for my yearly and doc said she felt issues in left I just felt like I was punched in the gut and would be starting the whole process with the left breast.

    Such a relief

    I will be praying for you and looking for a positive outcome!

    congrats! I hope I get an all clear soon. My biopsy is in 8 days. US said I have thickening skin too. Thx for your story
