6 month recheck time
well it’s now time for my diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound. Any one know what sort of changes will the radiologist be looking for? This is what my report 6 months ago stated. A surgical scar and some architectural distortion is present at this site.In the scar there is a 1.3 cm in maximal diameter nodule and tiny cyst. This is thought to be benign from the prior surgery.
The prior surgery they are referring to is from abiopsy I had 20 years ago for microcalcifications.

The radiologist is looking for no changes, i.e. a good result is stability. Sometimes cysts reduce in size or disappear, and that would be good too, obviously.
