So, it is a matter of numbers and who is looking at them and when plays a part as well. What I felt a little stronger about in this was the fact that in reality trump's numbers never have changed that much. It hasn't mattered all that much, but is starting to matter now.
Trump Gets Virtually No Bounce From The Republican Convention
The first post-Republican convention poll is out, and it shows Trump still trailing Joe Biden by six points with Biden at 50%.

It is interesting that close family members are telling the TRUTH about who Donald Trump is and he has reason for upset since he has spent a lifetime crafting his own view of the kind of person and success he is and it is not matching up well with what his family knows at all. Must be infuriating to him but he is so mentally ill that he doesn't see that calling out these 'truth' tellers and making up lies about their veracity while demeaning them with his personal opinions and slurs about them just makes him look all the more exactly what they have said. He is just making the letters bigger.

Another little ditty here: I'm wondering who really knows the truth about this and why isn't more coming out. I do understand there are people who are interesting in propping Trump up -- I presume hoping to get him thru the election, but there's a lot that isn't going to set well when the lies and cover-ups start coming out. At some point they always do.

Not Well Trump Nearly Falls Down Trying To Walk Up Steps
FacebookTwitterWhatsappPinterestRedditPrintMailFlipboardAdvertisementsTrump nearly fell down while trying to walk up three simple steps to get on stage, as signs suggest that the President is not well.

— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) August 29, 2020These events are happening more and more frequently. Trump has struggled to drink a glass of water in public. He infamously could not walk down a ramp after delivering a commencement address, and he delivered a Republican convention acceptance speech, where he illegally didn't leave the White House, with apathy and a lack of energy.
Trump has made secret unscheduled visits to Walter Reed, and the White House has never given a complete explanation for why he was there. Trump has never released his medical records, so the American people have no verifiable medical history on the current president.

One does not need to be a doctor to look at each of these incidents and see that something is not right. None of these episodes individually are proof, but taken together they build a perception that Trump is not well, and a White House that regularly hides information from the American people could be keeping a secret about Donald Trump's health and wellness.

Yeppers, I think something's up with DT's health...
He almost went over walking up those steps.
He's at the least terribly out of shape...
He could stand a session with a personal trainer...
And a dietician...
And could use a Fitbit on that fat wrist...
A brisk walk would probably have him gasping.
A run around the White House would most likely do him in.
Yeah, right,....like he's gonna be doing that!
Still, nothing wrong with thinking positive.

Nothing wrong in this case thinking positive indeed. Older age ( really the age I am ) is a time when health issues can show up in un-expected ways. Of course, even though I hate to admit it -- in some ways Trump does have a positive frame of mind. He actually believes he can do some of the un-healthful things he does and not have anything bad happen and he is right, up to a point. If you have an attitude that you are well and will stay well it helps make that happen. But you can only stress the body only so long before there is some overwhelm on it.
I think the article did mention that we never really got an explanation for when that ( emergency ) trip to Walter Reed took place and later billed as having some time and deciding to start the yearly physical then. That was not true. I do think there are people there at the WH that know all about what that emergency was and I think they are propping Trump up because they believe and hope that he just might be able to get across the finish line here better than anyone else. I don't recall just when the Walter Reed trip came up but it was late for putting in another candidate, and Trump at the time did look better. The economy hadn't done a total dive ( not that they are letting on how bad it actually is now ) and I don't think we had the virus yet either -- so Trump looked a lot better than he does at the moment.
Go ahead -- have more Colonel's chicken and Mc Doubles or Big Macs and keep the Cheeseburgers flowing -- by all means. Keep using those gold carts when you golf too. Sigh !!! It seems to be taking a long while. What a bummer if two days before the election ahem !!!

Strength is a capacity for endurance. One of the dividends of suffering is the universal discovery the we possess a strength within us we never knew we had. Navigating through a difficult episode not only shows us that inner strength is there but convinces us it will always be there to serve us in the future. Overcoming gives us an assurance of personal confidence and value that far exceeds what we thought we possessed before our struggles began.
