Hi all

Hope you are all doing well tonight. Quick question. I was diagnosed with bone mets in February... started Abraxane and Tecentriq mar 4th. Had my 3 month scan and my oncologist said scan was ok. Cpl spots have grown a little bit but he said we see this w this drug. When the cells attach to cancer cells, this makes tumour look bit bigger. But he said Then second 3 mos scan should see no change or some shrinking even. Anyone else heard this? Just want to be sure. There is some info on google. They called it pseudo progressio

dlittkemann, until other members jump in here with some responses, you may want to take a look at the article Tecentriq (atezolizumab): Side Effects, How it Works, and More from our main site.

    Hello,

I hope you are feeling a bit better with your bone pain. I too, have mets in my back and sternum. After two months of receiving this treatment I wasnt feeling any better, I had pain and I was tired. I had progression in bones and treatment has been stopped. Radiation and medicial oncologist agreed. I dont know if that is helpful.

I was wondering what percentage was everyone’s PD-L1. Mine was 30%. My onc said that was high and I am wondering if that is a good thing? She seemed very positive about it

Mine is 2% the tests used in the uk rarely come up high as they only test the surface of the tumour whereas the more advanced tests include the inside of the tumour. I believe one cut off is 1% or over (the outer tumour) and one is the inner which is 10% so either way definitely good.

I'm yet to have my three month scan It should be after next weeks round. I have noticed differences softening of original tumour, skin mets are less but without having a scan I wouldn't know 100%.

i have some bone aches but I got them after my last chemo in the first line setting so monitoring it. My onc isn't keen to scan but then from the other people I've spoken to on immuno they have said aches and pain happen.

This is the most advanced treatment so far for TNBC mets so it is brilliant you can get it 😊

I had a ct scan about a month after restarting Abraxane and had one dose of Tecentriq It showed measurable decrease of noodles in my lymph nodes in the omentum. I have no solid tumors but did have cancer cells in the fluid ofmy plural cavity. I’m hoping next ct scan is even better😊
