I have had an appointment with my PS. I asked him about going to over the muscle with my revision. My right implant faces toward my axilla and my left is a touch high because I had radiation. I have animation that is uncomfortable and my upper body is getting weaker. He told me that there is rippling and he would have to use alloderm to cover the implant because I don't have much fat on my upper chest. I am so tired of them jumping when I do simple things like pushing the grocery cart or pumping soap or lotion. What has your experience been with the change from under to over the pec muscle?

Everything got better when I made the switch. I also found a new doc who really had a passion for prepectoral implants. I already had Alloderm from my first implants and she added fat grafting to hide every ripple and divot. Three years in and they still look/feel great.

    Good luck

I had over the muscle after my mastectomy. Major rippling even with mesh Had another surgery to lift them. Didn’t help. Now one feels contracted. Feeling very unhappy with the results. I’m also 103 lbs. don’t even know if under the muscle at this point will help
