I’ve missed a lot! Sorry have not been on the boards in awhile - working from home is actually less work/life balance. But I miss this community! Hope all of you are doing alright during this time.

Here is Finley (11 months now) saying he’s not being a bother at all to Tucker (18 years!) and Domino (13 years). The pups love us working from home of course.

Micmel - sorry to hear this. When I saw you had posted my first thought was of wondering how your Tag was doing. He loves you, you love him. You will know when it is time to release him. I have two 14 year old boys and we are beginning to go through the same thing. On our "walks" now I watch because they can be unsteady. Sometimes hips are too sore to walk much. Sometimes they see a rabbit and they ignore all their aches and pains for a few steps. It is very hard to see them age. Maybe they think the same thing about us - bet they do. Sending hugs

Been wondering how the puppy search has been going for you. Rescues can make you go crazy. . I understand they want to make sure the pet is going to a good place, BUT.

They make it so difficult. Seems like some want your life history, 10 years back taxes, and glowing reviews from any body you ever met.

After a friend lost her almost 16 yo girl, the house was too empty So we went to all the shelters here, looking for a small dog There was one that caught her eye Friend handed over credit card, new baby had a new home No questions Pup is about 2 now, has adapted nicely

You got that right Spookie! Plus it doesn't help with this virus crap that they are doing adoptions by appointment only and there are huge waiting lists and if you aren't lucky enough to get chosen to have an appointment you don't get a chance to see any puppies. And if you want to go through a breeder here, it can cost major bucks as they have raised their prices.

I’ve been looking on that one and one other one but it pretty much is the same. Multiple applications for a puppy and some are only taking a few applications. So frustrating!
