Surgical biopsy and underarm pain

I had 3 vac biopsies of solid lumps in March in my right breast, (pre covid shutdown) which showed adh and fea in one, papilloma in another, and fibroadenoma in the third. Last week I finally had a surgical biopsy of the adh/fea. The surgeon went on vacation this week so waiting till the 27th for results. I'm tender but really surprised how little pain I've had. That said, I now have pain in the opposite side armpit...it's sore and distracting. It feels like I have a little rubber ball under my arm in the left side. Would the excision cause this? I can't find the right info online, since I keep pulling results about lymph node disection/lumpectomy. Mammos and US did not show anything weird in left breast...what gives? Not freaked out, just sore and looking for confirmation it's most likely just a result of surgery. No other illness ( I get my temp taken 2x day at work! Lol!)

Any thoughts? Thanks!

If it were me I would probably think it might be a reactive lymph node from inflammation in the general area. Another thing that can be sore and feel like what you describe can be a (very common) sebaceous cyst in your axilla. If it hasn’t resolved by your follow up, mention it to your doctor.

Thanks Melissa it's now under the other arm as well. I'll bring it up at my appointment.

Got the all clear from surgical biopsy, still just fea and adh! I'm really relieved. I guess I was more worried than I thought. Follow up with oncologist about tamoxifen (which I don't want, but will wait to hear risks before deciding) and then 6 mo scans and back to yearly mammograms. So glad first mammogram odyssey is over!
