Gemzar and Carboplatin

Anyone have success with this chemo? I am in big trouble and starting it next week!

    I had gemcarbo after my umx, they felt I hadn't responded to taxol. To me it was not bad at all, much easier than the others and you keep your hair so that s a plus. Only down side it was hard on my WBC, due to how you get it, you don't get neulasta so it did lower my numbers

    I was on gem/carbo for 23 months. Had some fatigue, constipation and low wbc. Used neulasta to keep up wbc. I had a total of 34 cycles. Week 1 was carbo and gem, week 2 gem only, week 3 rest week.

    I am hoping xeloda works just as well
