I agree!
-
More scar art! With more summer strappy shirts, I can show it off a bit more.
-
Miranda, I don't think you should get anything permanent. You're having too much fun changing it all the time. So many great ideas!
-
Thanks, Wren, it has been fun. And got me a new story.
My manager team was having a meeting at a cafe, and we were chatting with a random guy who was also waiting for his order. He noticed my “tat", but couldn't see the whole design.
“I think you've got something on your chest," he said. “Actually, I've got something off my chest," I answered with a laugh. We talked a bit about my treatment and cancer trends, then our food was ready.
The next day, he came to our studio, booked a session (ethics disclaimer - not with me), and left us a gift card for coffees. 50 years old, one boob, and I can still get drinks from guys! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
-
OMG! That would make a great name for a tattoo studio that specializes in post-mastectomy designs.
“Tats for Tits"
😆😭🤣

I'm an artist and love watercolor! I loved your touching plate ! I've just published and illustrated a beautiful book titled Mary Magdalene Speaks
It's on amazon if you're interested. I love this idea of art connected to breast cancer . If it weren't for my soul connection to God / I wouldn't have lived ! I had stage four no trace of it now . Been thru a brain tumor as well still here !
keep on Creativity! It's a Saving grace and tends to keep me from thinking about any bc !I'll post some art work soon !
So excited to see your work !

How do I upload my works on this thread? Tried different ways but won't pickup the image.
-
On the following thread - search for "How do I add an image to my message?" (about 1/3 down page). You could also find the same page in the Help menu (top left hand list on every page). I hope that helps. https://community.breastcancer.org/help
-
Thanks for the tip, still can't find. This website is quite convoluted and not organize in a user friendly kind.
-
fifth year, I have copied the information from the other thread and here it is.
How do I add an image to my message?
One way to add an image to a topic or a post is to click the image iconin the post/topic toolbar. A pop-up box will appear where you can either:
- drag and drop an image from an open file folder from your computer
- load from a file folder on your computer by clicking on the "Browse" button and finding the photo on your computer
You may also post an image by using a photo website such as www.photobucket.com or www.flickr.com. Each of these sites explains how to share your images; there should be an option to share your photo, and then an option for an embed code. Copy the embed code and paste the code in your text box. Once you hit submit, the photo should appear.
To re-size a photo, click once in the photo then grab the bottom right corner black square and drag that to the size you want. However, you cannot crop an image – that needs to be done before inserting. To Edit the photo, you click inside the photo, on the EDIT button. Here you can give the photo a Title, insert a link to a website (that can open a new Tab) and choose to have the image on the right or left side. -
