Implant Size /CCs and Look Upper Pole

From all of the posts I've read on the forum, it is very difficult to predict cup size, as there are so many factors that go into determining what that will be. However, I am also rather petite (5'1" and 112 lbs) and have 440cc Mentor moderate plus xtra implants. Immediately after my surgery, I felt that I looked 'huge', however, 8 months later I think that I am very close to my previous 34B. I now understand when my PS said that I needed the extra volume to get the necessary projection. As far as filling the upper pole - I think that the implants look so much better than the expanders did and I do have a natural looking slope. I think that part of this depends on the skill of your PS and where they are placed. Mine are pre-pectoral. I do have a bit of rippling especially on my right side which sits just a bit lower than the left. PS says that he can fix this, but it's not noticeable except for when I am completely undressed. I think I'm happy (enough) for now. I hope this is helpful.

e32 - do go back to Whippetmom's thread and post your statistics as requested in the header, including the model & size of your expanders. She is very good at estimating what will work..

I don't think you can really tell, it's just so dependent on your body (width of rib cage, how they sit) and the implant dimensions and style (width, projection, height, cohesiveness). Also most importantly, cup size is related to ribcage. A D cup for someone with a 28-30 inch rib cage is not the same as a D for someone with a 36-38 inch rib cage. Add in many women wear wrong band size and don't understand own cup size related to band size...not saying you, but just to say many have skewed perceptions.

I am 5'4", and reliably between 116-120 lbs even over last 10 years through my surgeries. I was a proper 30E/32DD before surgery and remained so even with three different type and size implants. First surgery - direct to implant -I got something like 435g smooth rounds - don't have card so that is from memory, second was 450g Allergan anatomical gummies, and now I have Inspira SSM 485g. While I could not always use same bras depending on width of underwire or height of gore, or shape/stretchines of cup, etc, I have consistently remained properly sized as a 30E (for brand with more true to size orstretchier bands) or 32DD (for brands typically with tighter bands).
