Swelling 2.5 years after exchange
Hi I'm asking for anyone with similar experience. I had bilateral exchange 2.5 years ago. All well. Last night I got swelling over right implant. I'll be getting a scan tomorrow and hopefully see my surgeon after. Just a question.... has anyone experienced this after a very very bad bout of coughing? I had some bad muscle pain around 6 weeks ago after very bad coughing and again a bad spell on sunday. Anyone with experience of this? Another thing I'm just thinking about... I'm recovering from covid pneumonia and coughing was due to that. Could it be an immunological reaction? Anyone had problems after covid? Should I post elsewhere?

Bring - I have breast & truncal lymphadema. Many docs don't diagnose or understand the treatment for this. Take a look at the link below to see if this might be part of the issue.

Edited to say that lymphadema can develop any time - even 20 years out.

Thanks. I think I have a seroma rather than lymphedema. Waiting for scan and fingers crossed. Xxx
