How much are you paying for Lupron?

Im a 31 year old who forfeited my health insurance offered through my employer to get enrolled in the Breast and Cervical Cancer Insurance Program through my state. I have been on it since the beginning of my 5-10 year journey with Lupron +Arimidex.

My former Physician Assistant was once a social worker and told me about it. Its a program (tier of Medicaid state insurance) that cover health expenses for breast and cervical cancer patients. Its for patients aged 65 and under.

It covers my primary care and specialist visits. I dont have any copayments. Ive never paid for Lupron and only pay to buy the name brand Arimidex through my FSA (through my employer).

I know that in my state the programs runs in two phases; A detection program and then prevention and treatment program. I got my insurance at the beginning of my treatment and did not have to show proof of income, in fact I renew it every year and proof of income is not required. This is because there are no income and resource limits for this program.

My choice of physicians and specialists have not changed at all and I go to a large university based research hospital for my cancer care.
