Tamoxifen and more Frequent Periods?

I had read some of the side effects of tamoxifen were often people had lighter or less frequent periods. Mine have started coming more frequent but regular. Coming Less than every 3 weeks and more heavy. Makes doing some things more awkward.

Do others find they are coming more not less frequent? Is it something to be concerned by? Any suggestions or thoughts? I loved it when i was on birth control pills as it was an even 4 weeks and not as strong.

I mentioned it to my oncologist, but she did not seem concerned, but my husband who was there did not think I expressed my own concerns fully for the doctor to make note.

Any thoughts?

    I would contact your gynecologist. I saw mine right before I started the tamoxifen. My periods stopped during chemo. My gynecologist said I needed to call him if I started bleeding while being on tamoxifen

    did you get answer from your doctor on this? I started tamoxifen 2 months ago. Last month I was a week late. This month it came 10 days early. Wondering if it's menopause (I'm 44) or the tamoxifen.
