Tamoxifen- Itching?

Hello everyone-


strange question... I started Tamoxifen June 15. my nipple & breast is all of the sudden crazy itchy. Not more red than usual (still discolored a tad from radiation). I’m wondering if it could be related to start of Tamoxifen since some women have itching with hormone changes during pregnancy etc.

I have leg cramps & spasms too. The oncologist is giving me option of stopping tamoxifen & then going back on it with a gradual dosage increase.

Just wondering if any of you had had anything like this?

    Sorry about the symptoms. I had some itching too and was give triamcilonone ointment which relieves the itching. Mine came a week post radiation which coincided with the early start of tamoxifen. Leg cramps and joint pain came with tamoxifen but it should get better over time. Hope you feel better soon.

    I didn't have itching but leg cramps, yup. I still have them 3 years in. In fact, woke me up at 4 this morning. It's always the sides of my ankles that cramp. Thankfully I went back to sleep for a bit.
