I read that it could be and I'm on day 2 of upset stomach. Worried about missing more treatments. I'm not overeating, in fact eating less and intermittent fasting. My tummy feels like crap.

toria - I lost 60 lbs with the Big D. I always got a full bag of saline before every infusion - and so I wouldn't get medically dehydrated - I went back for a bull bag of saline in between each infusion. You haven't listed what chemo you're taking but do call your doc's office. There are meds that can help.

Toria - also consider the BRAT diet. That really helped me. Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast. There are other bland things that are OK and you can google BRAT, but you should stay on this diet for 48 hours after your last episode.

Diarrhea from just radiation? I didn't have that problem. Be careful to not lose too much weight. I had to get weighed every week, and the techs told me that gaining weight wasn't a problem for radiation, but losing weight could be, and you might need remapping if you lose too much.

toria, I am wondering if you are having stomach issues from some of the supplements you discussed starting to take?

    Hi friends,

Tummy troubles finally subsided. I resumed radiation yesterday(Wednesday) even though my stomach was still hurting. Today radiation and stomach mostly improved. Hoping no return. I am not taking supplements(a probiotic, and magnesium at night but I forget sometimes) so not taking any of the others currently.

Thanks all for the information and suggestions. xx
