As some of you know, my hobby is poetry. Not neccessarily GOOD poetry, but, here goes. A repeat of one that might ring a bell with some of you!
CHRISTMAS CHEER
Christmas comes but once a year.
Lots of joy and lots of cheer.
Food's great, the company's too;
It's just that there's so much to do!
Haul out the wreaths and lights
Colors shine right through the night.
Buy the presents trim the tree;
Hope a presents there for me!
Wrapping paper piled so high,
Only one more gift to buy.
When it seems to never end,
There's always just one more to send.
Suddenly before you know it,
Budget's tossed and you just blow it.
Bank account is just a wreck,
That's ok and what the heck!
Christmas is just once a year;
That's ENOUGH of all that CHEER!!!!

That's very good, Moonflwr
-
Fun! Great poem.

I think that's a great idea!! I am an artist and would love that! I’ll have to post pics of my work!
-
I'm my own canvas! I got some temporary tattoo pens, and started having fun with my incision. Eventually I want to get a real tattoo done, but I need to wait for the scar to mature. In the meantime, I'll play with looks and designs.
-
that’s fantastic! Love it
-
Well done, Miriandra. That's a pretty design!
-
Love it!
-
My second incision design! The scar is the upper lid of the eye.
-
Very Noble Ancient Egyptian!
-
My first attempt at a sunset. I need to work on my cloud techniques, but it's not horrible.

This is it! We'd love to see your art work.

Had planned to make this for Easter anyway but lockdown gave me plenty of time. (16 " plate)
-
feline, love it. Did you use paint on glass or?
-
Hello all you talented folks: I went back to the beginning and looked at it all. WOW! There is so much wonderful work out there. I dabble in jewelry and doll making. I'll gather up my courage and post some things. Keep sharing!!
-
Thanks Moonflower it's underglaze pigment on a plain bisque pottery plate. I will have to wait 'til later to get the clear glaze done as I do not have a kiln but will get it fired at a local pottery which is closed for the lockdown. Still nice to look forward to.
-
Feline, It's really impressive. Be sure to post another photo after it's fired.
-
Elderberry looking forward to seeing your creativity
-
Brilliant!

What I didn't need: another hobby. What I did: bought some equipment for needle felting. Its fun, and most projects are small, so I can complete them fast. I love that. So here are my first 2. I haven't sewn the keychain onto big head Ted yet. LOL
-
Lovely! Makes me smile just looking at them Moonflower.
-
What a fun board. My guilty pleasure (besides wine) is papercrafting. I love paper and all the other accessories that go with this genre. In addition to creating scrapbooks, I especially love other paper projects.
-
So lovely! What an enjoyable craft that must be. I am sure the proud parents of each baby were thrilled with the crafted celebrations of the little ones.
-
Yes, they are very cute!
-
2 of my newest craft, needle felting. Big Head Ted, and an Owl, although he looks more like a penguin. LOL. But it is fun, easy and pretty fast. Not terribly expensive.
-
sorry somehow doubIe posted. LOL. Love the baby papercrafts! So neat!

My newest scar art - Pride birdies!!
