Always go with your gut....you have to be the advocate for your health. I initially had concerns over breast changes in 2016 and the age of 29. Had a mammo and US and nothing showed up. I went ahead and saw a BS, but he wasn't concerned due to my age. If I had pushed for more testing then, rather than waiting til 2018 when things were worse, I might not have been Stage IIIc and might not have needed chemo.

That being said, if the surgeon said to wait a month, he might not be overly concerned with what the images have shown at this point, but I would certainly keep that appt and follow up in a month. If after a month you still aren't comfortable, get a second opinion or def push for more!

thank you for reply it’s hard not to feel like a pest , I feel like it’s me pushing for another ultrasound as I wasn’t happy to wait 6 months . I want to know what this rounded nodular is . As I said it’s far posterior so I can’t feel it

had my second ultrasound today and don’t know how to feel. The girl that performed it said whatever it is is very close to chest wall and because I have very very large breasts it’s hard to see what showed on the Mammo. She seemed to spend a lot of time in one spot but then said that the results will be with my dr tomorrow to give me peace of mind , so does that mean I’ve nothing to worry about ? I think I also suffer from health anxiety which is making it worse

My husband just gets angry and says I’m never satisfied no matter what they say. I’m not the kind of person that can put things out of my mind .

    Can anyone relate please

It's much easier for people who want to respond if you limit yourself to one thread here. You just posted the same thing elsewhere.
