Square Look?
I had my exchange done on November 13th. The surgery was pretty easy and recovery has gone extremely well. However, I am wondering if it Is normal for the implants to look like you've run in to a wall and got squished in the front? I am happy with the way they look from the front for the most part, but from the side--- I look ridiculous!!!!
I have heard the term drop and fluff.... wondering if this means there is hope they will round out in the front a little??? Boy, I sure hope so! Is there any kind of massage or anything else I can do to improve/speed this up?

hodgepodge - it takes from 6 weeks to 6 months for your implants to 'stabilize' and the inflammation & internal swelling to go away.
Some docs recommend massage. Others say absolutely NOT. So you need to talk to your PS.
Other than that, you need to step away from the mirror. Hard I know, but important.

Hodgepodge
I agree with Minus2, way too early to know what you “got” at less than 4 weeks.
Curious though what type of implant your surgeon used?
“Drop and fluff” is a breast augmentation term. In my experience though it takes time for them to settle and get squishier. That timeframe can be months.
Good luck

Thanks for responding! I will definitely ask about massaging.
My implants are Natrelle Inspira SSX 750. I am trying my best to stay away from the mirror for a while! It's hard though, because I have to find a dress for a wedding, so I am hyper aware of my unusual profile. I am hoping to round out some! Bras with a stretchy foam cup are helping a little but it still looks odd from the side.

@Hodgepodge , how long did it take for the square look to go away? I had my exchange two weeks ago and like you said mine look good from the front but weird from the sid

Brooked - it takes several months for your implants to settle in. Check out the "exchange" thread for further discussion.

Sadly, mine still look very square from the side.
They are also much firmer than I expected. They look ok in clothes as long as I wear a bra with a molded cup to round out the silhouette some. They aren't terrible, but I don't love them. Was looking forward to wearing bralettes or non at all, but that just looks WEIRD! I hope yours round out!
