Something good

Good morning, dear sisters!
I haven't been around a lot lately. Just daily living is taking big effort. But today is a special day for my family.
My oldest son, Miles, will be ordained into Christian ministry this afternoon at 3:00. My family covets your thoughts and prayers on his behalf. He is a good boy (young man) and has borne tragedies beyond measure in his young life. His faith remains steadfast and I know you will join me in praying for a hedge of protection around him. Thank you all so much for your love and support the last couple of years. I will be back soon to post. Pam

Oh Pam how proud you must be !

Your son has followed the calling to be an Apostle of God our Father.
What a wonderful ,arduous life he is embarking on.

    A prayer for your son,

Father I pray that Miles may be effective in his work for you , persevering in prayer and preforms his ministry with gentleness and concern for others.Stay ever close to him.
Father I pray that all his work is pleasing to you and like the parable A pebble in the water spreading further and further causing ripples of enlightment into the community bringing Praise and Glory to your name.

    In Jesus name . Amen

    Love,
    Carrie

It is difficult to figure out how one can be so humbled yet so proud! I wish you could have heard my dear child state emphatically that he believed that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, his Lord and Savior! He affirmed that he was heeding the call of God into a life of servanthood for Him. His voice never wavered, and as he knelt in prayer, with the hands of the elders of the church upon him praying for him, I too, felt the presence of God. Thank you for your prayers. His ministry will be awesome. I am so grateful to God and to all of you. Love you all! Pam
