Were you happy with your size after implants?
Were you happy with size after implants? Did you go smaller or larger? High or low profile? Do you feel like you should have gone smaller or larger?

emma - I recommend you go back to Whippetmom with the information she requested. Or if you go to the 'exchange forum', there are lots of comments pro & con about styles, sizes, etc.

Thanks! Thanks for steering me her way! I did send her a PM with my info so she can help me.
I was also just trying to gather more info from personal experiences. Trying to do a lot of research beforehand.
I am still trying to figure out how to use the forum. 😁

I based my decision on the ccs removed during the mx. I had about 380 ccs removed and 421cc put it. Looks similar to the size I was. I’m eight year out now, I’ve got some tightness in the upper pole, but I can live with it. Mine are under the muscle.

Hi I had double mastectomy nipple sparing 2 sepsis at hospital amid my 7 recons and am not thrilled with them being so big it cramps from my active lifestyle plus the nips are uneven so I always wear a bralette - idk if I dare getting an explant to smaller but yes I want that. I worked every other month as a cna through al the surgeries of 16 mo

Thanks for getting back to me! I am under the impression we may have to redo in future anyway due to how long implants last?
I feel like I'll be upset if I go too small but bigger could also be upsetting I guess. I have had a wide range of breast size bc of weight gain and/or nursing. So I am used to being many sizes. But not sure what I want for a permanent size.

Good info! Thank you. It is a difference beginning at zero vs. adding on

I'm tall and thin (5'6, 120), I went will Ultra high profile implants 495 cc. I feel like I could have gone a little bigger. I was previously a B and now fit into C bras, some D's but don't feel that big at all. Just realize the implants aren't going to be as big and as high as your expanders are. I HATED those things but miss how high and perky they were lol I wish there was a way we could know how to pick the perfect size for us!

I originally had a 475cc and 405cc boobs. My left implant is a moderate projection 600cc.
I'm pretty happy with the size. I did like the projection from the expanders and I was a bit disappointed with my implants at first. I had a 605cc high projection implant substituted on the right for a month, but it got infected and was removed in March.
It was actually nice to have one at moderate and one at high projection. I prefer the moderate projection breast. It just looks more realistic.
It is easy to get greedy. After my BMX, I was happy with anything. Then my TE's were weird looking but stuck out nicely. Then my implants looked like flat pancakes and I didn't like them. I had a surgery to open the capsule up and switch my right implant as I said. My left capsule opening made it much nicer looking and softer. Now I only have 1 boob and I much preferred having two!
I'm happy that I went bigger because my previous boobs should be "B's" but they didn't sit that way and were A/B. My current 600 is a C/D and it really isn't big on me at all.

Had a bit of a nightmare. unilateral mastectomy. Reduction on other side.
After several reconstructive surgeries That kept making the size go down and down....including one emergency surgery, I went from a DDD to a B. I was freaked out for a long time about the size change. And the reconstructed one is still pretty misshapen.
But time heals, and not wearing a bra trumps big boobs BIG time. I do not miss the size. I do miss having sensation - I have none in either breast. I also wish I didn’t look like Sally in Nightmare before Christmas, but tattoos can probably help.
