GOİNG İNTO PERMANENT MENOPAUSE AFTER ZOLADEX???

Options

Hi ladies.I was diagnosed with bc 4 years ago and now I am 34 years old. I had zoladex for 3 years and it was stopped 9 month ago. I am on tmx now. I had menstruation for the first time last month. But ı have not had menstruation for about 40 days after the end of last menstruation. Besides that there are no menstrual symptoms just like typical abdominal and leg pain etc. And I've had night sweats for a few days. Are these the first signs of perimenopause? Am I going into permanent menopause?

I assume tmx=tamoxifen? Tamoxifen will mess with your periods as well. You can't determine whether your periods would be normal unless you are off any ovarian suppression drugs, AIs, or SERMS (i.e. Tamoxifen) for a while. Most likely you are not in perimenopause at age 38.
