Looking for BS and PS recommendation in IL

Hello,

I am so thankful I found this forum. I recently had a mammogram that found some micro calcifications in my right breast. Subsequent core needle biopsy diagnosed me with ADH. My BS ordered an MRI which came with possible DCIS. I had my excision surgical biopsy this Monday and still waiting for the results. According to my BS if the DCIS is confirmed I would have to have mastectomy due to the size and location of the impacted area.

I am looking for recommendations for a good PS and BS in Chicago land area. I would like to get a second opinion after I get my results from the surgical biopsy and if I have to go through mastectomy I would like to explore implants vs DIEP and would like to see a PS who performs both.

    Dr. Bethke is the best breast surgeon in the Chicago area and likely nation. Dr. Neil Fine was my PS and he was THE BEST and I am VERY happy with the results.

    I'll recommend a wonderful Integrative MO, who is very up on dietary practices, supplements, etc that can be done in conjunction with chemo or other medical treatments to enhance outcomes. Dr Keith Block, The Block Center, in Skokie. Even if you don't have chemo his practices and advice are all about healing, lowering recurrences and discouraging the growth of cancer.
