Mestatic Breaast Cancer Diagnosis

Options

Hi my name is Tammy, and have just been diagnosed with metastic breast cancer, just wanting to no if there is anyone out there like me, as I'm told this is a rare cancer

My symptoms are sore lower back, pins and needles threw my legs , toes, fingers arms and body. I have limited walking mobility and use a frame as my balance isn't very good at the moment.

I have started chemo and have it once a week, my side affects are mild headaches, and rash, is there anything or anyone out there to talk so as I'm very sad and usually cry a lot, that's every day,

would like to think there is someone out there like me.

Kind Regards Tammy

Hi Tammy, sorry you find yourself here but it is a great support community.

there is an entire subforum for metastatic breast cancer https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/8 - you may want to join us there.

are your mets to the bone? there are threads specific to bone mets. You can complete your profile more & tell us about your specific diagnosis - hormone markers & the type of chemo you're on & then connect with people going through the same path.

Are you de novo metastatic? There are others here with a de novo diagnosis.

hang in there, read through the forums and talk to us :)

Sorry you are dealing with this. I agree with the forum recommendation above. You'll find a lot of answers there.

I was diagnosed stage IV from the start too. Everything is difficult and crazy at first but it does tend to level out and get better on a daily basis. You’re bound to find calm and happiness again, it just takes time.
