IBC?

January: Ihad a shooting pain from my armpit to my left boob, swollen lymph node under armpit & axillary node. So I had a mammogram & ultrasound, nothing suspicious.

March: Collar bone lymph node swelling that comes & goes. They aren't concerned bc it doesn't stay swollen & couldn't get a biopsy when it was scheduled bc the swelling went down.

April: Very sore boobs, especially the left side. Now I'm noticing a little line under my nipple that looks similar to a 'dent'

May: I made an appt with my gyno. I'll see her tomorrow.

My left boob feels a little warmer than my right, unless it's all in my head.

I'm terrified of inflammatory breast cancer. I have a 2 & 5 year old, my 5 year old has high functioning autism.

When I see ibc pictures I assume they're really advanced pictures? I guess I'm just afraid this 'dent' is the start of an inverted nipple? Even though it isn't very deep or noticeable. I haven't felt relief in almost 6 months! It's driving me crazy.

    I am so glad that you’re seeing your doctor tomorrow as I have no doubt that what you’re experiencing would drive anybody crazy! However. IBC is a relatively rare form of breast cancer. That may be a small comfort right now but the chances of it not being IBC are far greater than it being IBC. Best of luck with your doctors appointment
