I had a BMX on 4/3 with expanders. I have some energy when I wake up but after I shower and fix my hair I’m exhausted. How long does the fatigue normally last?

I didn't have a BMX, but when I had a hysterectomy, it took me a few months to feel back to normal. I think it's probably normal to still be tired at your stage. Take care of yourself and Hang in there! Others will probably chime in soon.

I did not feel I had turned the corner on fatigue and renewed energy until about the 5-6 week point. I have read in a number of places that it takes about a week for every hour that you spent under anesthesia to feel pretty normal again

Both of my surgeries set me back quite a bit in my recovery from chemotherapy and it took a few weeks or months for my energy levels to return to pre surgery levels. It's one reason I settled on implants at the time rather than proceed with SGAP. I felt I did not have it in me to recover from such a big surgery.

Everyone is different but it took me about a good 8 weeks, and even then after going back to work and getting back to your routine the fatigue is still there. Hang in there! It gets better.
